Crew Wanted - Adventurous crew to enjoy the Caribbean on a catamaran

Seeking 1 or 2 crew to sail from Grenada to Bonaire, and if we get on, then Colombia and on to Panama and western side of the Caribbean. Non smokers only. Great if you are a diver. Experience not necessary but enthusiasm is. If you speak Spanish this would be an advantage. Contribution to food and beverage costs. This is not a fast trip. I take my time visiting places, meeting locals and exploring.

16/8 Update - I have crew from Grenada to Bonaire at this stage. I may be needing crew from Bonaire to Colombia in October and further so anyone interested please get in contact. No firm dates.

Hi, I speak spanish and have some sailing experience and love South America. Can you send me mail with some info about dates and possible contribution. I send you more info about me then. Regards.

Hi, I'm travelling around America and I was looking for something like this, I am now in the north of Argentina and I expect to be in Colombia by October, perhaps I can join you in that part of the trip. I have just coastal experience in the Cantabric sea (spain) but I am enthusiast, fast learner and fit to work, I speak english, french and spanish, I love snorkleing and fishing and I have my gear on me. Hope I can join your crew on this adventure. All the best, Mikel.

Hi Mikel,

Lets keep in contact as that is about when I expect to be there. I am planning to stay there for a few weeks to also travel around inland, but timing may be good.

Regards

Bev

Hi Bev,

That's great! Count on me for that part of the trip. We keep in touch for the timing, I'm flexible for that so I can adapt to your dates.
Enjoy it so far and all the best, Mikel
Hi! I'd be interested on joining from Colombia. Where do u plan to by exactly? What date approximately? My mother tong is spanish by the way :) Thank u!

Hello,

I speak some Spanish and have blue water experience. I helped deliver a boat from Puerto Rico to Long Island, NY in April.  I own a boat that I mostly sail in the Chesapeake Bay.   I am not a diver but I do snorkel.  I have the personality to deal with just about anybody.  I'm funny, energetic, polite, clean, non-smoker and have been to some of the Caribbean, Cuba, Panama, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, etc.  I am retired (US Navy) so I can contribute for food/beverages.  The slower the trip the better because I am not a big fan of winter.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Julie

Hi Julie,

I think you saw the post about I have crew to at least Bonaire. Please keep in contact as there are next legs

Cheers

Bev

Id be very interested in joining your crew in October.

Iv'e been fancying a trip to Colombia for some time now.

I'm a former boat owner but now sail only on my favorite boat --- somebody else's.

I know how to sail, stand watch, am a terrific cook, speak Spanish, and I'm a PADI certified diver.

Also, I went through the process of rebuilding a Katrina damaged Catalina 387. Can fix just about anything on a boat.

Hello! I would love to join your crew in Columbia or wherever you happen to be. I am a PADI certified diver and speak a bit of Spanish. While I don't know much about sailing, I am eager to learn and help with anything I can.

Thanks for your time,

Ben

Hi Bev!
Hope you are doing great!
I am now in Ecuador and I was wondering if you have already scheduled your way to Colombia in order to plan my next move and try to match dates with you. Perhaps we can meet inland before departure.
All the best,
Mikel

Hi Mikel,

Currently dodging hurricane in Bonaire. It looks like I will be here for some time as I may be going back to work in Africa. Still waiting to hear.
