Mid Atlantic to the Carribean

Taking some time off from working, would like to find crew 2 plus self

Always need 3 for off shore passage / watch standing

to sail from Annapolis Md to the Bahamas, island hoping then back.

Cover your own costs / food, transportation, I'll provide the boat.

Nice easy sail, no hurry, dive, fish, eat, swim , sunbath, relax , etc etc, etc

100 ton USCG master license with 5K plus sea miles , did some  deliveries,

now I'd like to do it slowly

stop at every little island and walk around

sounds great! would prefer to meet you first but probably not possble. photos of yourboat, above and below, would be good to see. I do not sail with anyone who drnks alchol while underway. Please let me know if you drink under sail or smoke aboard as that will be a deal breaker. thanks.

Hello Capt Rick,

I would be happy to talk with you. I have a few good ailing trips under the belt around the FL Keys and the Bahamas. I worked on at a marina with motor boats and one rental sail boat that we would take out when available. My girlfriend and I are currently traveling across the country from west to east. My brother lives in Annapolis, Shawn Owen Music if you are every in town check him out. He plays a lot down there. We would be down to help out with any of the sailing and can certainly cover our own costs. I have my scuba, she would get hers down there. We have the ocean bug bad right now and if nothing works out we would be taking a cruise. I would rather show her the peace of being right on the water.

We are both great people, and hard workers. I work with child care and education and she works with growing food and holistic health. I cook and play the banjo. We have great references and we really enjoy life. We enjoy traveling together, doing the US this summer then we are both moving to South East Asia next year. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your time.

Damon and Danielle.

Count me in.  In April I helped sail a Westsail 42 from Puerto Rico to Long Island, NY via Bermuda.  I have been wanting to do the Bahamas next. I have a 30' sailboat and we sail the Chesapeake Bay all summer.  I have stood watches off shore, fought many a battle with storms, and have crossed the Gulf Stream.  Fortunately we have nice weather until we hit the other side.  Ha!  I am retired (US Navy) so I can cover my own costs.  I am clean funny, polite, and love to sail.  Some would swear it's my middle name.  After Oct would be good for me.

Stay in touch , thinking right after Annapolis boat show.

If you have used Float Plan to find a boat or a crew member, or had a good experience using the website, being part of the community or you just love what we are trying to do (make sailing accessible to everyone), I would really appreciate a quick note that I could use as a testimonial on the new website. Thank you, Andrew
