ATLANTIC CROSSED!

Hello all!!......Trillium and her crew, Kyle, Kalle, myself arrived safely in the UK, 13.30 11th July. Our 4th crew member Henry had to leave us in the Azores to get back for a race.  We covered 4880 nautical miles total. Total lack of wind many times found us drifting much.  Unable to motor  too much as limited on fuel.....generator for battery power required...With what little winds we had meant our tack angles were poor so were unable to hold to course as much as we would have liked. But hey…See More

G'day Graham!

Thanks for the info...If you are leaving in May that could work out perfectly. I am actually from the UK, believe it or not Burton on Trent, but live in Sydney, Aus. This could be the perfect way to get sailing experience I am looking for while getting back home too. Only things are whether I will have had my fill of Central & South Am by then and the fact that my girlfriend is with me in (for a holiday) in Belize around late April so we would need to check on your intended departure dates to see if it could work...

Sounds like a great vision for the trip and the boat. Please do keep me in the loop for leaving dates and we could maybe have a chat on skype nearer to the time.

I have added you as a friend on here so that I may see any news of the trip and get in touch...I hope that is OK.

Best,

Jaydon
