About me
We are a couple, itching to travel, passionate about science and in love with nature. We are both biologists and we left our jobs to hitchhike the world and meet new people. We travel to grow as new persons, to broaden our minds, to fight stereotypes, and to see as many things as possible.

We are curious and we love to laugh, read, cook and camp in the wilderness. We love to sail and freedive in the reef. The more we are outside in the wild the more happy we are.

We love meeting new people and learning new ways of life. And we like more an intersting conversation around a beer or a glass of wine than clubbing.

Since we left Switzerland we already crossed Europe, Russia, Japan, Korea, China and South East Asia. Now we want to keep on going East and hopefully cross the Pacific to Alaska, Canada, or South Pacific, or the Indian Ocean, depending on opportunities. Meanwhile we are looking for any opportunities on a sailing boat. What we like is the adventure of sailing, being on the great blue. But we are also intersted on the maintenance jobs and are ready to assist our captain for any reparations, scrubbing barnacles, etc.

We find honest and thorough communication is the key to a happy boat. We are hoping to find a boat where the captain is happy to share is life and home and is not only interested on us for the money we can potentially bring. We look for team spirit, even though we are a couple, and for sailing and adventure.

Hi. I am still preparing the RIMA for the trip, We were in Indoesia a while ago where the RIMA was built.

I am planning to take her south to PNG then Bismark Islands - New Britain,, New Irewland and then Solomons. then to Samoa. Still a lot of do as I have a resort here in the Philippines and nreed to ensure that I have someopne to manage the business whilst we are voyaging.

Unfortunately the window for travelling is fairly short as the typhoon season starts in Solomons around Nov.and the prevailing winds are NEerly .

We have facebook page Laguna Lodge Hotel - Camiguin whre you can reply as well.

If you have used Float Plan to find a boat or a crew member, or had a good experience using the website, being part of the community or you just love what we are trying to do (make sailing accessible to everyone), I would really appreciate a quick note that I could use as a testimonial on the new website. Thank you, Andrew
