I'm an experienced coastal sailor, single, generally known as a nice guy. Retired from a 36 year career as a naval architect involved with design, construction, and operation of all sorts of vessels. I traveled the world quite a bit on business, including living in Saudi Arabia and Belgium. My three daughters are grown and on their own. I've lived aboard my 41ft ketch for 16 years, first in San Diego, but in Seattle for the past 11 years.
I have completed a USCG captain's course, but didn't bother to get the certificate.
