A bit on the fence with this one, but you can take a look at my floatplan profile regarding my experience. By the way, are you looking for only 1 crew member, or more than 1? Also, what is your sailing experience beyond the Carib.-FL…"
This voyage of some 1300 miles is in fairly benign waters, done outside of the hurricane season. So it it well-suited for someone, well, maybe not at the very beginning, but still in the learning stages. So, why don't…"
I'll be taking my Freedom 33 to N. Fl. from Guatemala this November.
Sailed her for 30 years, the last 20 in the Caribbean. Now old age has caught up with me, and it is time to call it quits.

I am a very fit and capable male with 7 years sailing experience. Belonged to Club Nautique (SF) 20 years ago and acquired ASA certs through Advanced Coastal Cruising at the time by crewing and skippering multiple overnighters to Farallon Islands and Drake's Bay. Also crewed bash delivery of Santa Cruz 50 from San Diego to San Francisco back then. Prior to SF Bay area sailing, I owned, crewed, chartered sailboats in the Pacific NW that included crewing on 36' sailboat from Portland, OR to Westport, WA, (and return) which involved Columbia River bar crossings. Fast forward...now chartering sailboats in the waters off of Southern California.
ASA through Advanced Coastal Cruising
Trip expectations (leaving from, going to, leaving date, leaving time, return date, return time)
Boat Wanted. Looking for unpaid crew position to help with delivery or cruise for pond crossing or coastal with highly experienced and capable skipper/delivery captain. I am located in Southern California but can travel to departure point.

If you have used Float Plan to find a boat or a crew member, or had a good experience using the website, being part of the community or you just love what we are trying to do (make sailing accessible to everyone), I would really appreciate a quick note that I could use as a testimonial on the new website. Thank you, Andrew
