I am a medical doctor with German background who likes adventure and to experience foreign cultures. Fitness and a non-toxic lifestyle are important to me. I am into surfing/kitesurfing, free diving and would like to learn spearfishing. I enjoy the company of open minded people.
My goal is to gain offshore cruising experience before I own a yacht and take responsibility for crew and ship. I would like to learn from experienced skippers who like to travel off the beaten track. Comfort is not important to me and I like healthy team dynamics.
I have an interest in expedition medicine. Currently, I am working as an anaesthetist in Australia. Before that I was worked as a flying doctor for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Western Australia.

Trip expectations (leaving from, going to, leaving date, leaving time, return date, return time)
I would like to sail, surf, dive and explore. I like remote areas with pristine nature. I work as a Locum doctor on short term contracts around Australia. That way I can free myself for short noticed sailing trips without time pressure.

You have requested to be my floatplan friend a while ago - find more about my sailing project at my site under www.alive.cms4people.de. you will find detailed information about our route under routeplan as well as information of the conditions we take crew on bord (cost share).
If you have used Float Plan to find a boat or a crew member, or had a good experience using the website, being part of the community or you just love what we are trying to do (make sailing accessible to everyone), I would really appreciate a quick note that I could use as a testimonial on the new website. Thank you, Andrew
