Another human on the Earth making the dream of his life!
My name is Ian, a Spanish guy traveling around the world and not using any airplanes.
In 2014, I started nomadic life as it is the first step to pursue my dream. I tried to cross the Atlantic ocean but I didn´t find any vessel… So, I started traveling toward the east and after 15 months on the road, I arrived to the Pacific ocean.
I want to learn, I´m willing to help with anything if you train me for it. I´m a consistent worker. I could also cook, clean and I have a good hands to fix things.
A simply man… I like old school of classic travelers, looking to connect with people around me for learning and sharing experiences.
I like slow trips, peaceful life, quality time to feel and enjoy conversations…
Now I´m in Bangkok, heading to the south towards Malaysia, Indonesia, and later to Philippines. Any advices and information are welcome.
- I´m looking for good books or blogs to learn about sea, boat, star… also places where information about others travellers with same attitude and dream to learn and share are available.
- If you know any good ports in Asia, any useful contact, that I could ask directly regarding their traveling routes, schedules, best timing for the trip, please do let me know.
Now, I´m in the second chapter of my trip. So far, I have crossed Europe, Central Asia and China to Thailand by land. Total of 15 months of adventure and experience, more than 20 countries know my footprint, more than 500 drivers and 35,000 km in hitchhiking. I have time where local host, street, tent are my home.
People meet people and people help people. I have been seeing an Amazing World!
But now I can´t continue by land, and I need new wind to help me complete my journey.

(I´m cameraman, now I´m working on a documentary about this trip experience. I could record your trip experience in photo/film, also, I could share my skill with you)
It is a child's dream… Crossing an ocean, feeling the nature, experiencing the true size of the planet. These will bring me energy which could be a unique and true experience of life and I´m now pushing every bit of me to make it happened.
Thanks for your time here and I hope you could be my wind.

I´m looking for any kind of vessel that could bring me to...
1- Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan and Russia would be best... this journey is step by step… and later I will try to cross Bering Strait within the next summer.
2- Alaska would be perfect because I want to do Pan-American road to Cape Horn (about 30.000km).
3- EEUU, Mexico, Panama, Chile…and later heading to Alaska.
You need to be a member of Float plan to add comments!
If you have used Float Plan to find a boat or a crew member, or had a good experience using the website, being part of the community or you just love what we are trying to do (make sailing accessible to everyone), I would really appreciate a quick note that I could use as a testimonial on the new website. Thank you, Andrew
